To capture the party feeling of balloons, inflated biodegradable garbage bags were arranged in the shape of flower petals, to bring a weightless, airy feeling. Contrastingly, the leaves were made of wire mesh cut and twisted into organic shapes, and painted in different metallic shades that would catch the light.

Old discarded plastic bottles were hand cut and shaped into flowers, that were used as table toppers.
Tying all of this together was the highlight, a large number of floating dragonflies. A delicate framework was welded together and finished with iridescent saran wrap wings, that caught and bounced the dj lights. A cascading group of these dragonflies, suspended from above transformed the dance floor to an unusual and surreal disco hall.
Outside the space was a water feature, where we installed giant spinning pinwheels that caught the breeze and spun, creating a dynamic feature.

The entrance lobby was transformed into a Photo Booth, with water lilies fabricated from welded metal frames, over which dreamy organza fabric was stretched.
