Khaniskha & Aadhiswaran's Muhurtham
For Khanishka and Aadhi’s wedding mandap, we returned to monotones to let their golden ensembles glow. Deep reds and maroons created the contrast and held the space together. The backdrop took shape from Khanishka’s love for Siva, with hand-illustrated forms of Siva and Parvati printed on flowing fabrics. A pixellated interpretation of the thiruvaachi became a recurring thread, echoed through painted brick details across the stage. Hand-painted panels, cascading florals and reimagined traditional elements added layers to the mandap. A space that felt grounded and familiar, almost like stepping into a temple where the scent of kumkum and flowers lingers.
