Prathap & Mithula - Local Soirée

Set in the heart of a traditional Mandapam, this celebration was our ode to the soul of the South reimagined through a modern lens. We’ve created thiruvizhas before, but this time, the intention was to reimagine, keep the soul, change the skin. The idea was simple, bring the past and present into a playful, passionate dialogue. We introduced stark, contemporary accents, graffiti, pop art, clean geometry to sit in conversation with heritage. The space shifted from day to night with a quiet drama, using light as our medium. Pink washes, translucent fabrics, and contemporary thiruvizha lights worked together to transform the venue’s mood without losing its essence. At the center stood the Drishti Bommai not as a protector, but as a pop icon. Towering and iridescent, she caught every flicker of light and turned it into magic. At the heart of the experience, the grazing table flowed in sculptural waves, blurring the line between installation and indulgence, a feast not just for the senses, but for the soul. Bright marigolds, soft textures, and playful silhouettes framed the evening grounded in tradition, elevated by design. This was not just a party. It was a transformation. A quiet rebellion. A celebration of heritage wrapped in a wild, romantic glow.
