When @priyankapdeshpande and @djvasi_clique187 came together, so did two distinct worlds — and we wanted the decor to reflect that beautifully. At Mitham, we crafted a setting that blended tradition with a contemporary touch, designed to feel both intimate and immersive. The stage was framed by folding panels, designed like an open door adding a sense of depth without overwhelming the space. Around it, water features brought a soft movement to the courtyard, amplifying the openness and calm of the venue. Traditional South Indian flowers marigolds and Kozhikondai were arranged into cascading garden installations, bringing color and vibrancy without feeling too structured. Above, we played with textures: chandeliers made from coconut leaves, koondhal panai, and even chickpea seeds added a raw, earthy drama to the ceiling. Instead of heavy brass elements, we opted for terracotta sculptures and wooden accents, keeping the aesthetic grounded and natural. Leaf-crafted geometric floaters on the water introduced a playful but sophisticated edge, layering modern shapes into a traditional setting. Every detail was a balance between old and new, bold and soft, creating a space that felt personal, timeless, and full of meaning for Priyanka and Vasi.
